Household income and expenditure survey (HIES) 2024-2025 PROJECT

VACANCIES

The Solomon Islands Government (SIG) through the National Statistics Office (NSO), Ministry of Finance and Treasury (MOFT) with financing support from the World Bank under the Building Capacity in Statistics and Audit (CAPSA) Project is pleased to announce the following vacancies to be immediately filled for the HIES 2024-2025 Project.

Mandatory Criteria

(i) The mandatary criteria for the Survey Enumerator and Supervisor positions includes: minimum qualification of form 5 secondary/senior secondary education or other equivalent qualifications; must be physically fit and healthy; must be between the ages of 18-55 years (Enumerator) and 25-60 years (Supervisors). Applicants must have basic Information and Communication Technology (ICT) skills in the use or application of either computers or software, operating android phones, other mobile phones or tablets. Candidates must not be religiously or culturally obligated not to work in the weekends (both Saturday and Sunday, but can work on any of the two days). If the candidate is a female, than the candidate must not be currently pregnant at the time of application. (ii) The mandatory criteria for the OBM-Small Boat/Canoe driver is the same as the Enumerator except that for educational qualifications, a minimum primary education (or other equivalent) qualifications is required, and there is no requirement for having any ICT background experience.
